We started JMG Builders on 2021, but our experience goes back much further than that. Our work is built on years of field knowledge, planning experience, and the kind of craftsmanship that only comes from doing the work the right way.

In our early years, we focused heavily on home remodels and additions. Today, we are also thriving in custom home building and have become known for building one-of-a-kind new homes with high standards and detailed finish work.

Our company is owned and operated by Jon Graff. Jon was raised in Medford, WI and grew up working alongside his father in a general contracting business. Those early years shaped the way we work today, with a focus on integrity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Jon earned his Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Design and Technology from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. After completing his education, he moved to Eau Claire and continued working in the home construction industry.
After more than 15 years of field experience, Jon started JMG Builders with a goal of building something lasting, both in quality and in reputation.
Our name has a deeper meaning, too. JMG Builders is named after Jon’s father, Jack Michael Graff. Naming the company after him was Jon’s way of honoring the legacy and work ethic that helped shape the builder he is today.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys being a father, spending time with his family, riding snowmobiles, staying active, cooking, and spending time with his two dogs.

Jon Graff was elected to the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association Board of Directors and was inducted on December 4, 2025. He will serve a three-year term.
